  • The applicant must be a resident of India.
  • Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from a recognized college or university.
  • Applicants in the General/OBC categories must have secured 55% marks, whereas 50% marks are required for SC/ST/Cat-I/PWD applicants.
  • Candidates who obtained their Ph.D. degree before September 19, 1991, are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks (i.e., 50% for General/OBC and 45% for SC/ST/Cat-I/PWD).
